Rachel began performing at an early age, attending grade school at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Lexington, KY, where she was sorely disappointed to find that not once did the cafeteria erupt into spontaneous  dance-party-jam-sessions, as promised in "Fame."  Despite this temporary disillusionment, Rachel was determined to pursue an acting career, earning a BA in Performing Arts from Antioch College, and later studying at the School for Film and Television in New York.  She has appeared in dozens of stage and screen productions and continues to hone her craft as an active contributor to the vital New York theater communities of The Barrow Group and Naked Angels and is an original member and Artistic Director of Core Artist Ensemble theater company.  Rachel is so humbled and grateful to be a part of this sisterhood of collaboration with PHOENIX RISING.
