Mirirai is an actor and singer born in Zimbabwe, raised in Massachusetts and based in New York City. She graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and is currently an Acting Apprentice at the Actors Theatre of Louisville. She is also a resident actor with True False Theatre.

Personal Statement:
After the first day of the workshop for LTPR! I knew that this experience was not going to be like any other. To be given the opportunity to explore and find out more about myself was one of the most challenging but fulfilling things that has happened to me since I moved to NYC. Rarely do we get the chance to just be with ourselves, meditate, and work on our craft so it was really important to make the most of the two week workshop. It was truly a life-changing experience that solidified why I am in the arts. I'm blessed to be a part of this company and I believe that art has true healing powers.

Alesandra is a New York based theater and film actress and a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She has trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, The Stella Adler Conservatory, the Stonestreet Film & Television Studios, and WITS University Johannesburg, South Africa. Theater credits include: Ronnie (lead) in the D.C. Black Theatre Festival production of STILL LIFE GOES ON; QUIZZICALLY QUIMSICAL; a showcase with Front and Center NYC. Alesandra made her directing debut at the Ancient Drama Festival in November 2012. She is also workshopping sketch comedy with EndTimes Productions for their 6th annual winter show "Naked Holidays" and is shooting her first sci-fi action feature with Silver Cheese Productions.
