Felicity B. Gates has specialized in infrastructure investing and financing, since the late 1980s, and served as Director of Itínere Infraestructuras, S.A.; Partner and Co-Head of Citi Infrastructure Investors at Citigroup Alternative Investments; and Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure at Deutsche Asset Management, Australia, Ltd., and Deutsche Bank AG, Investment Arm. Ms. Gates also served as the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at RREEF Infrastructure, where she completed and managed investments, including United Energy and Melbourne airport. During her 13 years with the organizations, Ms. Gates built the Australian- based infrastructure funds management business and launched the European and North American businesses as Chief Investment Officer of RREEF Infrastructure. Previously, Ms. Gates worked with Macquarie Bank and Bankers Trust in capital markets and structured finance, and served at Macquarie Group Limited and Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation. In 1994, Ms. Gates joined NSW State Superannuation Board to set up their infrastructure portfolio and manage State Super’s involvement in several landmark transactions in Australia, including the privatization and subsequent IPO of United Energy and the privatization of Melbourne airport.
Ms. Gates serves as Director of YVR Airport Services, Epic Energy Inc., Vantage Airport Group Ltd. and DP World Australia Limited. Since December 2005, Ms. Gates has served as Director of Australia Pacific Airports Corporation Limited. From 2009 to 2010, she served as Director of Kelda Eurobond Co Ltd. Ms. Gates has held several directorship positions with infrastructure companies and industry bodies. Ms. Gates received a B.Sc. with First Class Honours in Mathematics from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
